Ayoub Rhythm Recommendations
Hello,
I never post here but I've been here for awhile now. I'm currently fascinated with the zar dance and am looking for examples of Ayoub rhythms to listen to. Only problem is with my limited knowledge in this arena, and even less in the Ayoub, I'm finding this a bit more difficult to pin down. So I thought...
Why not ask on Bhuz?
Can anyone perhaps give me some recommendations for some well executed Ayoub pieces? It would be awesome!
Thanks
Masika

Tamalyn Dallah puts a little zar flavor into the ayoub that starts at about 1 minute into this oriental piece:

I haven't seen any all-zar clips lately...hopefully someone has one bookmarked!

She also has a Zar CD - not so much for performance- real Zar music with a 30 something page information booklet including lyrics. :)
