"Za Main" off of "Superstars of Sha'bi"?
I figured this might be a long shot, but does anyone know where to find the lyrics for this? It is track 9 from the Saad and Ameina CD put out by the BDSS.

Sorry, I didn't find it. It's possible the lyrics are out there under another name, though.

I don't know. I looked on a couple of different Arabic music sites under both Ameena and Saad, and I couldn't find any titles resembling "Za main". The closest I found was "Aala meen," which seems to be a different song. I even looked for "Zaman," which would be a mis-transliteration, but it was a dead end, too.

Awww thanks guys! That is what it seems to be called on the CD and my Arabic runs to about 5 words that I recognize from listening to so many love songs. Ala Meen is on that CD too, another cute song. I really wish that CDs put out by the BDSS would have some lyrics included.

I was working off the snippet on Amazon, so maybe I missed it where I was looking. It wouldn't be the first time MC relabeled or reworked something on one of the BDSS CDs and it got disconnected from the original version. I'll send you some links for places where you can try, but I'm beginning to suspect this was just a leftover track that isn't on another record.
I'm not sure what else to tell you. I know why a lot of Arab singers don't have lyrics translations on their liner notes--they're selling primarily to people who speak Arabic, but the BDSS products? You would think they'd realize their target market wants and needs that information.
