Disappearing thread? El Taaia el Shebeha

Hi all - this morning Andalee914 posted a thread about the above song (her name for it was slightly different from mine). I replied to the thread and now it seems to have vanished - am I losing my mind?

I'd like to know more info about this song as well, as I love it, and have only heard two versions - an OLD one from Naima Akef movie, and one from Aida Nour's 2007 Weeklong CD (I got a copy from a friend).

Can anyone tell me more about the song and any other versions that may be out there? Andalee, did you delete the thread?

Bless your heart! Yes, this is the SONG! I wish someone could give us an idea of what the singer is singing about. Just out of curisoity, how in the world did you figure out which song I was talking about???? Do you speak arabic? I'm impressed!

I think this song is simply lovely! Funny enough, I bought my version in a garage sale. I happen to stumble upon a home made music compliation of belly dance songs burned to a recordable CD. I popped the cd into my player and I was blown away by this very song. So, what I am long-windedly trying to say is there was no cover, artist name, nothing! My version definitely sounds more modern than the Naima Akef video clip - thanks for posting the clip by the way! I loved it!

I would be more than happy to share my version with you. I just don't know how to upload it on the Bhuz site.

I love this song! I got this from Aida Nour as well- she taught me a private lesson using this song in a beladi choreography . I didn't even realize that it came from a movie. Thanks Tamra Henna!

If it is the version that I think you are talking about, I totally agree! Listening to the classic version that Tamra Henna posted was fun, too! I just wish I had some idea of what the song is about. I was told that Randa Kamel danced to this song, and of course, Dandesh. Has anyone seen a video clip out there of Randa or Dandesh dancing to this particular song? I'd love to see it!

Dandesh is dancing to it on Ahlan wa sahlan 2002 (i think its 2002)
