Thread: desert orchid by Kairo by night

HI! Would anyone be able to download this song onto the music section, mp3? I really like the song but don't want to buy the cd, if possible.

Actually, Lahadat is a very good CD. (and Kairo by Night is a small American band that is probably not getting rich through their CD sales)

I am really hoping that someday they will re-release their first two albums on CD.

I puchased BOTH their CDS wholesale (though, not true wholesale because,as you said...they aint getting rich on their music) and sold out of them the same evening as I brought them to class.
When you give or receive copied music...it's theft. No one wants to steal from another artist...

The lady of Kairo by Night, Ms. Godin, was my Junior High School counselor. I saw her dancing once in the Kismet festival about 12 years ago and actually have a picture of her in her dance costume. Shiny Magenta skirt, sleeves, and a scarf tied around her forhead. I had no idea she was part of the band until last year when I saw her accept an award for Lahadat on 6th awards of bd video. I saw her and was like, OMG I know that lady!

Didn't she mean, put it into the mp3 music player on bhuz? You can't download music from the bhuz player.

Sorry if I misunderstood...the OP said that she didn't want to purchase the CD...I assumed she wanted the track without paying...

Hey ladies, didn't mean to cause a ruckus... I just liked the song and was hoping someone would post it here so I could listen to it... But with all the glowing reviews of the cd, I'm off to buy a copy!

No ruckus! We're all friends! You won't be sorry...both CDs are terrific...they're SUPER slow to answer emails...but be persistant...the music is worth it!

I agree! Both cds are great. I've danced to that song a billion times! ;)

if you want to hear it first, and see a great performance to go with it, go to youtube and look up "Desert Orchid." (or try looking up user "sonyassouk")

does anyone know where you can buy there other cds. i have Lahadat, but would like to buy more of their stuff. i LOVE it. i dont know why, but it sounds very "live music'.

Long time fan here, still using their old cassettes!

I've just found 3 of their cds at the IAMED site and bought them all - I've been looking for them for ages. Can't wait for them to arrive!
