Hello i came across to this video, Aleya is coming to las vegas and she will be teaching this workshop, and its has no description on it and i would like to learn more about this dance or music "style" i have no clue what it is any info will be helpful :D thanks

Shaabi influenced --- not completely like street style but the choreography is a bit less formal and a little cheeky. I think the song "Morgeha" is a pop song.

She did the workshop in Atlanta last month with the same song. It's a fun choreography.

El Morgeyha is a Shaabi song that is sung at every wedding, and for some time has been airplayed all over Egypt like a huge number 1 hit.

The songs main line is 'life goes up and down like a swing', so you can see why the lyrics would be popular.

The full title is "al-Donia Zay al-Morgeha" (الدنيا زي المرجيحة). Both Amro al-Said and Karim Nour are given composer credits in the first clip, and apparently both sing it. Karim's version is the first (and more polished) production below.
