Thread: Please help identify this baladi song

The video poster says the song is Ya Baladi Ya Wad. I've never heard this version. Anyone know the song and artist and perhaps where I can find it?

It seems the video is mislabeled. It's not "Ya baladi ya wad" by Ahmed Adaweyya per the comments on the YouTube page. It's "Ana baladi ya wala" (or just "Ana baladi") by Khaled Zaki. Not sure where you can find it, though. Apparently Khaled is in the same class with Riko in terms of dancers wanting his music and no one outside of Egypt selling it. I love this song too. I got it on a cd from Ahmed El Seuessy i bought in Nile group last year.
I have an idea of the general meaning of the song, but if someone has or could do a translation and / or transliteration of the lyrics, that would be so nice .

I can see why it was mislabeled as Ya Beledi Ya Wad. It's remarkably similar to the Ahmed Adewaya version.

I have the song in mp3, If anyone want it sent me message and anyone want new songs or old song just tell me

I have this song too, bought a cd with it.
I have tried to understand lyrics but they are quite unclear to me. For instance, it seems the singer says "love has moons" or something like that ?
Could you help me understanding this ?
