    Song of the Day: Al Ayam by Omar Khariat

    So while trolling you tube this morning I came across this song by Omar Khariat and thought it sounded familar.



    I finally placed it as being the opening song in this video, which happens to be my all time favorite Samara performance! This music has haunted me for years. I'm so glad I found a name for it.



    The second song on the video is Fi youm wie laila a previous song of day!

    The first time I heard Omar Khariat's name was when someone posted this video of the Russian Dancer Evgenia Kopteva and wondered where to find this lovely piano version of Abdel Halim's neptid M'neim el hikaya! Such beautiful music!
