I had no idea! I've been avoiding the news lately and of course the US news is full of Donna Summers death. I doubt if they've ever heard of Warda! What a shame! Another great gone.

Just back from work and saw it all over Facebook - so very sad. SUCH a beautiful, beautiful voice - this reminds me that I never did buy a replacement Batwannes Beek, and I see I can buy it on iTunes. Off to buy and listen to pay my respects.

Saw it yesterday on FB. sad- This year is full of legend's passing.

I believe though- sadly Warda will be greatly missed by an entire country as well as the dance world who held her most dear but the bulk of the world will never know her or her music. I'm off to the gym to work out and will dance a few for her.
