can't post a new thread

this is part a test and part a plea for help! I have been trying to post a new thread for days in the "off topic" forum, and I just get a white screen every time I click "post", and nothing ever posts! I've tried on two different computers, on IE and Firefox, and cleared my cookies but nothing is working.

Help!

Edited to add - ok, so it posted here....but why am I haveing this problem posting in the off topic forum? I will try another forum now and see if that works....

Edited again to add - I tried posting in "the rest" too, but no luck. It seems like this is the only forum that works for me!

It is possible that this error is due to the thread title being too long. See if it works with a shorter title. Other than that, I have no clue about this mystery.

Ok, I will post a shorter thread title. That might be it - I was able to post on swap meet and the title was shorter for that post. I'll let you know!
