Thread: ARGH! Tried to post in SWAP Meet twice and got rejected!

Tried to post a long, involved costume post in the Swap Meet, and twice, nothing came up after I hit submit thread! Like it never existed! Anyone else having probs with Bhuz?

wow. At least this one worked. I couldn't even copy and paste the info. Swap meet overrun with entries? So frustrating.

That exact problem happened to me the very first time I actually signed up and started using Bhuz. So I understand your pain, I wanted to pull all of my hair out that night and called my poor dance-mate Ruby a bazillion times to find out what I was doing wrong. The only way I could solve for the issue, was to place my new post into an old post that I already created. There must have been an issue with the pic, although it was sized to the dimensions required.

I'll try it again today-I hope this doesn't happen again! I've not had trouble posting in the past!

I'd compose the message in Word/Emacs ;-)/TextEdit - whatever your favorite editor may be, and then tackle posting. Posts that are too long or posts that have an excessively long title can cause problems. The good news is that you can always edit things later, so maybe you can work incrementally, start with a partial description and add to it? Good luck!

tried that-tried even no title and no pics, and only about 12 words-still didn't work! Had no trouble uploading my pics to the gallery. What gives?

I did hijack an old thread, though, and that worked perfectly fine. Not ideal, but it's out there!

Only posts of a certain length are accepted. Lately with my long posts I type it all in, copy the whole thing to my clipboard, and hit submit. If it doesn't work, I delete the second half of the info and hit submit again. (Which usually works) then go to "reply" and paste the second half of the info there. I can't remember the limit of words/characters but it is something like 3,000.

Have you updated your browser lately? If it's an older version it may not be compatible, especially since the Bhuz upgrade. I just updated to the latest Firefox and certain problems (non-Bhuz) I was having have disappeared.
