    Bump?

I'm a new user and I can't seem to make sense of how the term "bump" is being used. Does it just mean that an item is still alive in the swap meet? Thanks for your help.

"Bump" means that someone is keeping the thread alive by "bumping it up" so that's it visible.

    Re: Bump?

Bump is a term used when someone really doesn't have anything to say, but they are trying to make their thread(or forum) reappear at the top of the forums page, by putting a new comment in the forum it takes it back to the top of visibility so other people can see... so bump means... bumping my forum to the top.
