Hi, I haven't been on the new Bhuz much because it's *very* difficult to read due to the colouring. Is there an option to go back to the other colour scheme?

Yes, please. Blue on blue is hard on the eyes.

Re: Hard on the eyes
Strange indeed. I find the blue less harsh than the yellow of the past.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I don't have a problem with the blue color per se, but I'd like a higher level of contrast. Ie, a lighter shade of blue for the background, and a darker shade for the text. Maybe also a slightly larger font would help?

I'm with Brea. I find the blue very difficult.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I agree! I don't spend much time on Bhuz anymore because it's literally unpleasant and I get a headache.
Also the font is very slim and light - that's not helping matters.
But blue on blue is about the worst, it's extremely hard to read.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I had no problem with the old yellow - or the new blue. As long as it isn't black on white or similar, I'm happy...
I have problems with the search results page - if you have your browser's font size cranked up for readability, the search page results chops off the bottom half of the thread titles. Thank Goddess this isn't anywhere else that I've found...

Re: Hard on the eyes
Yes, new masthead is very pretty. Funny, blue is usually so soothing, but I think it is harder to read text with this as a background. The yellow was warm, friendly and happy looking.

I do like the blue - but a bit more contrast would be helpful.

I also have trouble with the blue....it's hard for me to look at. Maybe I will finally break my Bhuz addiction LOL!

Re: Hard on the eyes
Wow, have been getting used to the blue transition and find reading is quite easier on my poor computer-screen-allfreakinday-viewing eyes. But I guess it's what you like and what you're used to, although some colors can be harsh depending on your vision...then again, I am a blue/green loving mermaid.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I am fine with the colors in general, but a bit more contrast would probably be nice. Font size and how the whole site renders on a mobile device is what I have trouble with; Bhuz on an iPhone/iPod is hard work.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I'm not that crazy about the blue either, but as others have pointed out, I think it's largely a matter of not enough contrast. I think it would actually be quite nice if it were a much lighter blue.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I like the masthead too - and blue/green/ocean are my favourite colours, but unfortunately they don't seem to be friendly for reading.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I prefer a bold font and perhaps a lighter blue or even white background. Blue font on blue background makes it difficult for the eyes.
Sadly due to this, I am spending less time on bhuz. I am hardly even posting much anymore and even visit this forum way less.Jennah ~ Petite Dancer

Re: Hard on the eyes
I agree about the blue comment. More contrast for these old peepers. I do like the new format though. Posting is faster. Thanks Rosey.

I don't have a problem with the colors. The problem is that it seems too busy. Change is hard for everyone I guess.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I have been visiting Bhuz less as well because I find the new colors hard on the eyes and the small font is tough on the eyes as well. The old colors were softer and warmer. I also am finding that managing my pm inbox is more difficult.

Re: Hard on the eyes
I like the blue. I am also not noticing smaller fonts. If anything, I find the font to be bigger in some cases (ie thread titles). Perhaps it is the browser? I'm in Chrome.

Hey! I'm liking this black text. Much easier for Bifocals Woman here. Thanks!

Re: Hard on the eyes
I also find the black text easier and the whiter background on the new posts page, or is that the black text making it look whiter..l;, Thanks Rosey anyway.
