Thread: ISO Fabulous Cabaret Dress

Hi All-
m on the prowl for a fabulous blingy cabaret dress. I love the Pharonics dresses ;) Open to most colours except white,orange,yellow and lt pink.

I am 5'5" tal
C/D cup
Upper hip 38"
Lower hip 42"
Underbust 35"

Anyone got anything??

Hmmm, I just got this gorgeous beauty here on Bhuz, and I LOVE it but I should really stop buying so many costumes that I don't need... anyway, if you're interested I might consider selling it. It's new, never been worn. There are chiffon inserts added to the slits, and more of the same fabric to add to the top of the bra for more coverage.

Pictures and measurements from original post are below. Not sure about the measurements for you - I'm actually a C/D cup and right on the edge of the stretched lower hip measurement, and it does fit me, but without a lot of room to spare. For my cup size I would definitely keep the extra chiffon on top of the bra, but I think the bra might work for you too if you aren't a large D. If you're interested, I can take more detailed measurements and send you pictures of me wearing it so you get an idea of fit. It's SO much sparklier than the pictures show!

- Upper hip: 28 unstretched, 38 stretched
- Lower hip: 34 unstretched, 42 stretched

Nasila I think I have asked you in the past but I don't remember. What are the measurements on the grey dress? and how much?

I think it wouldn't fit your boobs? The bra is heavily padded, but over the padding the cups are about 6" x 6", 36" strap. I have it tacked up around the belly (under the appliques) because it was too long for my torso. I'm 5'3" and it would work best on someone a few inches taller, esp if you have a long-ish torso. Hips are about 18" unstretched across and 21" comfortably stretched.

I'd let it go for $275 + shipping.

sorry to hijack but I am after other ladies for the grey dress. I'm 5'6", do you think it would be too short? I have a long torso (runs off to measure self). you can e-mail me at jubae@cableone.net if that is more convenient than a pm

sigh, it sounds like it would fit my hips and torso but I'm not sure about the cups. I'd need minimum 7" tall by 8 1/2" horizontal.

The hip-to-floor measurement on the sides/back is probably 35" or so. I will have to measure for sure when I get back on Sunday and get back to you (hip bump me if I forget) :)

I think that's where we left off last time! ;P You'd have some *serious* cleavage even if you could devise a way to add some coverage.

I think you are next in line for grey dress (sorry for the thread hijack, Monsoon). I just measured the butt-to-hem length laying flat and it's 37.5". Let me know if you need any more measurements.

I don't know where I am in the line but I might be able to make it work if there is a headband that I could add to the cups for coverage.

Oh! Technically you are first (Monsoon isn't interested in this one) but I had the headband created after I got the dress, so it's out of different material. It looks fine together from a distance, but I think it would be odd with the fabrics right next to each other. There is one short arm gauntlet and one band that came with the dress originally, but not really enough to add to the cups (unless you're super awesome at such things). It might be possible to get conrasting fabric and add ruching (sp?) around the top of the cups? Let me know if you need any more info.
