ISO: purple/ magenta/lavendar (or similar shade) costume

I know a few girls out there are looking for purple costumes so I may have picked the wrong time to look, but I'm in desperate need of a purple costume. My purple Noussa is falling apart and I can't be without a purple. Ill also look at magenta, fuschia, dark pink, lavender...anything in that colour scheme. No deep plums though, I want something a bit brighter, and I don't want anything too pinky. Defintiely something in the purple range.

I like Bella, Paganini, Yasser, Noussa, Mumtaz etc. the usual, but I'm really open to anything. Not crazy about Pharaonics but I'm open to see what you've got.

I don't like straight skirts, Dina style bras, ruffles or choli tops.
I'd prefer a mermaid skirt but full skirts are good too.

I'm an A cup but I can fit into a B or small C cup with padding.
My upper hips are 34" and I'm 5"4 but I'm a decent sewer so I'm fine with altering stuff. I don't expect a perfect fit right away.

Looking forward to seeing what you got! Thanks ladies.
My email is drumbalagan@hotmail.com if you want to send photos or anything.

Have you seen this? Not sure if the skirt would be too straight for you, but it sure is pretty!

Thanks so much for the tip. I had actually seen this one, I love the colours but I'm just not crazy about the bra and the super chunky embellishments. I can't quite put my finger on it but It's just not quite what I'm looking for. Definitely the right direction though, thank you!

There is a cute one on ebay, reads like it would need some repairs, but might be worth it for the price:

Wow that one is pretty. I like it for sure! It looks like it might not be in much better condition than the one I'm replacing it with, so I might decline but I'll definitely keep it mind if I don't find anything else. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Gigi, I'm interested in the Lavender Bella but I'm concerned that the skirt might be too small. I think I could fit 32" right now but I sometimes go up to a 34" and I don't want it to be too small. Is there really no give, or is there anyway I might be able to make it a tiny bit looser? Also, the bra has those cut outs so can it be padded? Or will the padding show through the mesh? I'm an A cup so I have to pad my costume bras quite a bit. Thanks

The bra has padding cover with maching color mesh. If you don't want padding I can cover in side with extra mesh so it won't be seen threw. Also I have another macthing fabric to cover inside.
The skirt has a elastic belt inside, if you take that out it gives 1 more inch. I can open the belt from the slit, and make it longer. I have the all maching beads. All these things are something I can do, but it just take my time little bit. I prefer to sale it someone fits first. Let me check, how much time I need to spend on, and I will let you know.Gigi

Thanks for the post JonnaN but I think I'm going to pass. Too bad the other two costumes aren't purple ;)

I guess I didn't read this becarefully. I thought you were already 34". If you are 32", for later you can take out the lastic in side the belt and make it looser. Thanks.Gigi

I'd really prefer purple over pink, so I'll likely pass but if it's not too much hassle I'd love to see a pic just in case. My email is drumbalagan@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Hmm yes I saw that one and I was considering it but I'm not sure about the cut outs on the legs. Do you have any more body pics that are clearer and head on? Plus the colours in the pictures are very different from eachother. What colour would you say it's closer to?

I do not currently have any more pictures, but I can take some for you! The exact true color is the lighter purple/magenta color found in the close up shots. I'm not sure why some of the action pics are so dark... must've been the person's camera! What is your email so I can send you the pictures?

That would be great! If it's not too much trouble I'd really like a fully length body shot from the front view in decent lighting if that's possible. It's really the only way to tell how the costume looks and will fit. I'd really appreciate that. My email is drumbalagan@hotmail.com Thanks so much.

Hi thanks for the post but I really don't like that typical Turkish style with the fringe. I'm pretty petite and I just look like a mop in those costumes, thanks anyway!
