Thread: emergency! ISO 3 KHALEEGY THOBES - FOUND

sigh, I'm still holding out hope that they will arrive (I ordered a little over a month ago, show is on the 30th...) but I don't want to take my chances. I need three khaleegy thobes, different colors, bright ones preferred but will take a look at anything I can get at this point. if someone happens to have 3 I would prefer to buy them altogether from same seller but I will take a look at whichever ones I can find. doesn't have to be of the highest quality, would prefer inexpensive.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that you're worried, knowing you ordered from that seller on my recommendation.

Have they been able to tell you when they shipped? Are they stuck in customs?

Maybe email Hasani, Hasani's Online Hotline. I recall she sells them and is very reliable. If she does not have what you want she will certainly tell you.

Hmmm, I have an orange one and a red one that I could bear to part with.. and also a reddish orange one.

they just kept telling me "it should be there soon"

1. Orange Egyptian-made thobe, $45. 55" wide (from sleeve edge to sleeve edge).

2. Lighweight red thobe. I think this is similar to the ones sold by that Desert Something place. $30. 51" wide, 57" long.

3. Unusual orangey-red thobe I bought on eBay. Don't know the background. Unusual sleeve embroidery, very nice. never used it. I think I paid $90 but would sell for $80. 48" wide, 58" long.

I like the first two. How long is the orange one?

eta: also, the orange one looks like it has shorter sleeves? or is that just the picture?

Sorry, I was writing that post in a hurry. The orange one is 56" long. The sleeves are not as deeply cut, but that's the widest one sleeve edge to sleeve edge.

Each of these thobes has a slightly different shape.
