Thread: ISO: pink costume

I am looking for a pink costume either a bra & belt alone or with a floaty circle skirt. I really don't want a lycra set. I'd prefer baby pink, but it's OK if it has other colored stones on it. I wear a small C or full B. Fullest hip is 35.5" and for the skirt about 35" in length but am OK with having it hemmed if needed.
I'd love to have a Pharaonics, Dahab or a Hanan. I just bought a basic set on Bhuz but think I am going to sell it to one of my students as it's not really what I am looking for. Oh, price range- with skirt up to $400.

Your pink costume is beautiful. Unfortunately, the top would be too large. I just measured my largest bra that fits (with padding) and it's 7.5 diagonally.

I know you said no to lycra- but this one has a nice flare to the skirt...brand new- I never got a chance to wear it- very flattering on...

I have something exactly like what you are describing! I would need to take pictures tonight of the actual costume so you can see the TRUE color, but here in Dahlal's inside the harem January-February 2008 page 4, bottom left, Hanan called Bundle of Joy. It's a very nice baby pink with turquoise accents. It's stunning... I even made a matching chiffon skirt and veil etc to go with it, but how tall are you? I'm 5'2" so it might be too short... let me know if you want to see close-ups.

Hi Julsie, Your pink costume is really pretty, however this costume will also be used as a troupe costume and so it has to be a bra & belt so that I can change out the skirt. Thank you for posting

Talia, I am interested. I would love to see more photos and have measurements. Is it in good condition, any missing stones or beading etc?

Basil, if Talia's doesn't work out for you, I might be willing to sell the pink "fringe monster" I am wearing in the video here. No skirt, just the bra/belt set (I paired it with a blue skirt.) I'm a B cup, 35" hips (I had to take the hooks in quite a bit, so I know there's room to let out.) It has big tear-drop stones in various colors for accent, those are the black 'dots' you see. I paid $400 for it new and only wore a few times, I would sell for $250. If you're interested let me know and I can send more detailed pics & measurements.

The stones are alternating colors of red, purple, blue, clear, and I think there's even a green on the bra. It also comes with 2 extra bands you can use as either bracelats or anklets--one is red, one is green.

Thanks Almee- I already found a pink costume here on Bhuz. I just received it Thursday and it's beautiful :-) I'll post pics in the swap meet when I get the hooks moved etc.
