I have this royal blue and turquoise set that I believe is affordably priced at $199. Skirt flounce and veil were custom dyed by me

The top of the skirt would be a little big, but it could probably be taken up some just by adjusting the elastic. The bra base started out as a C but got smaller with everything sewn it, and the cups fit close to the body, so it would probably work best for a B cup. For reference, I wear a dress size 6, 36C lingerie bra, 36 upper hip, 38 lower hip.

Okay, I sort of love this, and it IS a great price. I am really concerned about the hip, though. I don't want it to just hang on me--I think it would need to fit pretty tightly against my thighs for the cutouts to look right??? I SO wish I could try this on. Ack! I wear a size 4-6 as well. I just remeasured my uh and lh, and my uh (as low as I would feel comfortable wearing something) measured out at 33 and lh at 37 (the biggest part of my booty).

Let me give it some thought.

PS... I'm impressed by your dye job--how did you get the transition so smooth?? My transitions when dyeing are always a little questionable ;-)

Yes, you do want a skirt like this to fit correctly. Let me take a look at it and see if there is any way to make it smaller, okay? It has a zipper in the back, and it might be possible to take it up there. If there is, I'd be willing to do the alterations if you buy it. I'll get back to you.

Thank you! I have a very large workspace set up in my basement with multiple large pots on hotplates. And I use acid dyes which I think blend easier than fiber-reactive dyes. And lots of practice

I have a turquoise rings of desire in excellent condition and I am open to trades, payment plans and offers. I'm really motivated to sell/move this as its just a tad too snug in the cups and UH.

OH goodness. This would be a perfect perfect perfect fit. Tell me about that ring on the hip. It looks huge on Dahlal's website. Is it flattering?

I don't suppose you would hold this for me for a couple days? I probably *should* trade because i have a forest green bella that is WAY too big in the cups, but alas I can't bring myself to get rid of it yet. I think most anything else I would have to trade would be too small for you. I have a red and black modified eman (was one of the ones with the weird feathers sticking out of the bra, but the feathers were removed by another dancer, and the armbands were cut in half and sewn to the top of the cups...difficult to describe). I think it might be too small for you though, if this costume is.

Let me know if you will hold for me until Sunday night?

Well, yes... but consider that I'm an A cup...

I have a veritable "Wall-o-padding" in the sucker, and it still looks good ... Funny thing is, while I was nursing my baby last year those cups fit perfectly with zero padding. Sigh.

Re: ISO affordable blue or teal or turquoise

    Hi Sonja:

Okay, I looked at my royal blue/turquoise skirt and the unstretched measurements are:

    top: 23"
    max booty: 33"

The elastic around the top can be shortened, but taking it up all around is a problem, because it would mess with the placement of the cutouts. If just taken up in the back, the cutouts would shift to be over your buttcheeks

So, maybe you can judge better from the unstretched measurements whether it might work or not.
