Nashid´s and Julsie´s are *exactly the style* I´m looking for!(suitable for pro cabaret)
However...I´m too big for Nashids lovely

    Julsie that´s gorgeous!
What´s the length and max upper hip on the skirt? Can it be shortened?
Does it come with a headband? And how does the outer side of the upper arm sleeves look(seems decorated and "blinged"-YUM!)

I will look for another pic
My daughter had a photo taken in it-
The bottom can be easily hemmed...
    Original post: http://www.bhuz.com/bellydance-swap-...now-475-a.html

I have a veil & not sure about headband- will go look...

    Measurements:
    Green Sim:
Dark Emerald Green Lycra with Deep Hunter Green Chiffon sleeves & Veil.
Fringes all over skirt, moves fabulous with every step.

    Bra: Up to 36/38" UNDERBUST, CUPS=APPROX. 6"-V, 7" H, APPROX 8" D
Skirt: UH= measures 33", but fits me at 34" fine.
LH up to 40" or more- I will recheck that too
There is no added elastic. It is in brand new condition and no alterations have been made to it.

I am not sure if this is a Sim or Legend...It is fabulous, heavy & made to last!

The sleeves are decorated...Here is pic of sleeve detail

Re: ISO cabaret costumes (or dresses) with choli tops

This seems perfect for me both in size and color(recently became a redhead and sold all my pink and reds as they "clash"with the hair)

What´s the length of the skirt?Would the lower hem be easy to shorten(in case it´s too long)?

    And a weird detail question-I have a very short torso thus always remove fringes to only leave between cups;
Do you know if the loops around the choli are threaded independently(as a row of fringe)or made directly on the edge row by row?

Re: ISO cabaret costumes (or dresses) with choli tops

    Hi Emma-Bessa,
Sorry- my original thread got lost & I forgot to add the length into last post.

Skirt length= 40" measured hanging- this would be reduced by a bit when the wearer adds their hip curves to fill it. It is very stretchy in the lower hip area.

I have 2 veils to go with it- One is a plain rectangular in hunter green & One is the matching circular one with the beaded trim that matches the costume- this could easily be added to the slit for added movement & modesty...you could just tuck it under the waistband & pin to temporarily hold or sew it in.

FRINGES: The bra top fringes are looped & only 3"max on the longest ones- They are individually looped 2-by-2...so you can snip 1 & it really removes 2, if you know what I mean.
Easy to snip 'em off without having to open up the any seams.

I put it on ebay this morning for $600-I would love to have a quick sale this weekend to use the funds for another opportunity.
It is really a steal- this is such a well made costume...It would compliment a red head nicely...you will love it.

Re: ISO cabaret costumes (or dresses) with choli tops

    Julsie:
An unfortunate unexpected expense just came up-was happy to score a Pharaonics dress on Ebay for under 45$...however seller invoiced me 175USD for shipping, and can´t(won´t) change the shipping fees.

So have to wait for more shopping until next salary, and will not mind you putting this on Ebay now

    This is such a deal:Sim´s I´ve owned and the Legends I´ve seen have only glass&rhinestones with no plastic that may chip or fade-absolutely NONE of the "snagging"problems some of my Pharaonic´s costumes in lycra/rhinestone have;
i.e. claw settings constantly "catch" the lycra fabric.

Looked closely on the hem and it seems that it can be taken up without cutting(my height is 5 foot 3 inches according to a converter)

I´ll be on the constant lookout for these kind of costumes, and others also(sent links to friends with both yours and Nashid´s Esau:-) )

Keep them coming no matter the size!
