DVD to youtube conversion

I haven't tried it yet, but my dad bought me this when my Nero crapped out:

It says on the box you can upload directly to YouTube. The reviews are decent (except for the HD flaws).

You are going to need a video ripping program. I downloaded a free one from download.com and had to do it like five times before I got a rip that I liked. The Raks dvd files are huge because they are burning them as you dance.

I have the Ulead VideoStudio 11.0 version, and I think it works pretty well. I really don't know much about editting video, but the nice thing about a program like this is that in addition to simply ripping video and uploading it to video sites, you can do things like make compilations, if you ever want to do such a thing. Good for video auditions. Here's a video that I put together to promote Midnight Mirage when MEAI brought them to Seattle a little while ago using the Ulead software:

I downloaded "handbrake" onto my MacBook computer, it is super easy to use and free! All of my youtube videos are on handbrake.
