Who can do a good logo for not so much money?

I "need" a logo, one of those graceful silhouette kind of things along with my "official" font - but like everyone else, want it on the cheap. I can't afford the price of an Abla for it - any tips/suggestions?

ArtistNikkiJ did mine and I am going to have her do the one for my dance company as well. It was not expensive at all and she did a great job. :)

i have the exact same question now. anyone still doing this?

i need a vector based logo with my dance school name, very simple, to have printed on t-shirts, and am considering having one made with my dance name too...
