How do I put someone's event on my own Facebook fan page?

OK, I asked this within a thread on the Business forum, but it's got a little lost...

How do I post other people's events onto my own Facebook fanpage? I can set up my own events, but I also want to be able to advertise events at which I'll be dancing, and can't see a way to do it.

So far, I've only been able to add other people's events to my user profile page's wall, but my profile page is under my real name, and my fanpage is under my business/stage name ('Jewel Bellydance'). I don't want to connect my fanpage back to my real profile in any way.

Sometimes Facebook is as frustrating as all hell. Give me an old-fashioned program with a manual, dammit!!!

copy/paste the URL of the event into the wall of your fan page or the notes section of the fan page

There's a "Share" link to click above the RSVP on the event's page, which will post it to your wall too.

Yes, if you click Attach: Link on your fan page's status update bar and copy the event's URL there, the posted link will include all the basic event info.

Quite awesomely, it will also automatically link it like that if you just put the full URL in your post. A rare example of a smart thing facebook did ,r:;

I think that only posts it to your personal wall, not your fanpage.

I've usually just added other people's events as a link, from my fanpage wall.
