DVD: plays on computer, not on DVD player

Got a weird one.

Recently bought from Amazon.com two of By Dancers For Dancers DVDs, volumes 2 and 5 (already had 3 and 4). Volume 5 plays fine on my regular (non blu-ray) DVD player attached to my TV. Volume 2 will NOT load on my DVD player (says can't read it).

I put it in my computer's (Apple iMac) DVD player - recognizes it just fine and plays it.

It's the only DVD I have that my regular player won't read. I looked at the shiny side and it looks fine to me. Even cleaned it, with a CD/DVD cleaner I have, still no go.

I'm not sure, but it might not have been finalized properly.
I'd ask Amazon to replace it.
Or perhaps your DVD player doesn't read all formats, I have one that won't play some DVD's, but my other DVD player will.
Or,
If it's from a foreign country it might be a VCD.

I have Vol. 2 and it plays fine on my regular region 1 DVD player. I'd get a replacement from Amazon, sounds like you got a defective disc.
