Youtube To DVD?

Hi,

There are two BD youtube performances that I think are just gorgeous! I would love to somehow get them on dvd. Is there a way that can be done? Has anyone done that?

Good question!
I've often wondered this myself.w.:

Download the files as MP4 (I use the website Zamzar.com to do that for free, they convert the files for me and send me a link to download the converted file) Then use whatever DVD burning software you have, OR just put the MP4 files on a CD -- it will *probably* play in most DVD players.

I use the mp4 format and it works, but I'm no video genius. There may be a much better choice!

Don't expect great quality. You're taking something that was probably poor quality at postage-stamp size and blowing it up to put on your TV. It's going to look like a Nintendo screen. There is no software or editing tool that can guess what the lost details were supposed to look like and replace them.

To get better quality and ensure perfect ethics, of course, you could e-mail the dancers and ask if there's video footage available for purchase in the full, original resolution.

Well in trying to solve my own dilemma, I stumbled across "Any video Converter Professionl. It has a button to download youtube videos. I was able to download a video but I can't figure out how to burn it to a DVD yet.

You can use DVD flick to burn youtube to dvd, it's free

I might try that. My new DVD burning software isn't opening up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I swear I have a tech gremlin in my computer.

Okay I tried DVD flick. It seemed to work but now my disc won't play.
