Question for Audacity users
Hi everybody,
Ok, so on some songs I've noticed that they tried to be all fancy and have the sound come out on one speaker at a time, and I don't know what it's called but I need it to stop! One of the restaurants that I work at only has one speaker for it's sound system and I ended up with only half a drum solo the other night. Doh. ..l;,
So is there any way audacity can fix that? I've tried going through all the effects, like normalizing etc, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

Audacity can; a quick search with Google for "audacity mono" finds:
Convert Stereo to Mono with Audacity
Mixing stereo tracks to mono in your Project (a more complex, but complete, set of directions)
I tested the first directions, and they worked OK in my copy of Audacity 1.2.6. Lots of distortion, but play with the gain level and that might help. Hope this works for you!
