Why do I keep getting certificate error messages?

This happens alot at work, is the date and time on your pc correct? Even if it is a day off it will come up with that error.

If that doesn't work, go to your Windows Update and update your root certificates.

Yep that's what it was. I just remembered that's what fixed the problem last weekend so I checked the date and it was in 2004 again!

So the next question is what causes the date and time not to update? I read it could be a powering issue (which could be connected to my 100% CPU issue?) or a motherboard issue(I certainly hope not). I changed a few settings on my control panel. My machine was set to never power down which I read could be an issue. So I changed that. Hopefully that works.

You may have a virus, trojan or a worm. Do you run antivirus software? If not, you should get some ASAP. I believe Avira is free.
