question: searching swap forum by price

Is it possible to search the swap forums by typing in a price?For example, typing in $150? I have tried but it always tells me there are no posts or thread with that in it. I have also tried just typing in 150 or different amounts. I was just wondering.

Most search engines remove very common (like the, and, or) and very short strings (like a, ii, x), which typically also includes numbers, from the search, based on the assumption that they do not have any "information value". In computer science, these words are called "stop words", and it has been shown that for general purpose searches, removing stop words usually leads to better performance. (End of lecture)

Ok, so are you saying that it's not possible to search by a money value because of these "stop words"?

As a general idea, yes, I believe that is what is going on (I do not know the details of the forum software, so I can't be sure, but I have worked on similar tasks as a student).
