I have no idea if there is a solution to my problem, but I thought someone might know.

A few online friends and I have a forum that we use to critique each other's fanfic and such. There are only four of us on the forum, no one can join whom we don't invite, it's completely privacy locked, and we're all over 18 (most of us well over, and then one is 19). Hence, we thought if parts of some of our stories got a little racy and delved into short bursts of erotica (and I mean low-key erotica, not outright porn), there wouldn't be a problem. About 90% of the content on our forum is inane crap like us complaining about work, talking about writing, non-erotica fic, etc., so it's not like we're running a porn shop here. Not even close.

Except apparently the message board site uses some sort of keyword search or something to troll forums and make sure nobody's doing anything naughty, so I got a nastygram PM saying I needed to take down all the "mature fanfiction" as they put it. I know none of the other three members made a complaint or anything, and none of this stuff was posted publicly, so that's the only explanation I can come up with.

does anyone know of any sites out there that aren't so picky in the TOS? Every one I've seen so far is (except one that was a bit ambiguous, but it also had the rule that you can't have private content, and we absolutely want our board to be private and members-only).

We've been hoping to find a board host with a bit more liberal TOS--again, nobody but us is going to be on the forum, we're not going to be allowing young members or people we don't know well-- but it seems most boards do have a caveat against "mature" content (also excessive swearing, but I've received no warnings for my sailor-like language yet!). We'd rather a message board so we can use threads and such, instead of a more linear format like Livejournal or Yahoo Groups.

Anyone know of any?
