Converting wma files to MP3?

How do you convert your wma files and I think it's wpl files to a MP3? Got a song I want to dance to that is downloaded on my computer in these formats but I need to convert them into a MP3 file. If a thread on this has already been started, please send me the link to it! I'm looking for a program that will do it that I don't have to buy! (would like to save that money for costumes and classes!)

I think you can do it with Real Player, which is free.

I use an audio converter programme, from DVDVideoSoft. It's a freebie, and it's quick & easy.

I found a free online converter. Worked great, and I'm VERY happy I didn't have to download & install any software.

Seconding RealPlayer (I can confirm it does this, since I just did it 15 minutes ago), which is a very versatile program, and you might already have it.
