Thread: Traveling to Istanbul in May

Hi all,

I will be visiting Istanbul in May for a few days. I've been taking belly dance classes (Jawaahir Dance Company) for a few years, and thought it would be fun to take a dance class / workshop while I'm in Istanbul, if I can squeeze in the time.

Can I get recommendations, prices to expect and the level of skill they would expect me to have? (I'm very much a student *smile* )

I'm also hoping to perhaps purchase a costume. Any advice on prices and what to look for would be appreciated.

Thank you for your quick response. I have looked at your website and it is very informative.

I am still curious though as to what I should expect in terms of prices?

Also, I do feel a little intimidated and hesitant about contacting the dance instructors on your page. Has anyone here taken classes from them and can tell me what to expect?
