Where to go in Egypt for dancer training...

I'm thinking of doing dancer training in Egypt later this year or early next year. It's time I start planning. I figured I take off on an "adventure" for awhile and do something I love. I think I deserve it after all these years! Back on subject, though I have a few in mind, I wanted to hear back from my fellow Bhuzzers. What are some good dancer training programs in Egypt (preferably Cairo)? And a little off topic, but how about Arabic schools or universities that teach Arabic to foreigners in Cairo?

    Thanks much!

I don't think there are any specific dancer training programs in Cairo, outside of the festivals (Nile Group, Ahlan wa Sahlan) and Safti's weeklong with Reda and Farida Fahmy.

But Raqia has a studio and will do private classes with you. So will Aida Nour and many other instructors. They're funny, though... they want you to call when you get there to set things up, they don't want to make any plans ahead of time.

I just did 2 day's w/ Magda Ibrahim and I would highly recommend her. In fact I cant wait to go back & study more with her!!! She is such a warm & lovely person in addition to being an amazing dancer

She was a principal dancer for the Reda troupe for years & years - below is an interview link & her website link
