That looks like a nice line up of classes!! I'm sure you'll have a blast.

I know there are several bhuz ladies coming. Just like last year, I will have "BHUZ" buttons at the registration table so you can have something to recognize each other while at the event.

Seleena, also from Bhuz, is looking for a roommate...in case you are interested.

would compare class lists but I lost my email when some scum bag stole my computer... sure hope they hand out a regitration sheet / schedule or I'm screwed.

We'll have Bhuz buttons!! No worries. Also, we will have an optional Bhuz cocktail party on Friday in Jack's Irish Pub at 5:30-6:00 for more formal introductions.

I am hoping to make the trip from San Diego to Las Vegas. Attending the LV Intensive would be a birthday present to myself. I am thinking of signing up for Sacha--Delicious Drum Solos and Sabeya Silky & Powerful Hips.

Please come! You'll have a great time and the room rates this year are ridiculously low. Sacha's class is near capacity...so you should sign up soon if possible.

I'm not sure I'll make the cocktail party myself. Sigh...sometimes the necessity of running the whole freaking event gets in the way of hanging out and having a few cocktails with friends. LOL. I might stop by before I head over to the theater.

I won't be there this year, (my first year not at the Intensive since it started) I'm going to be in the bay area teaching at Desert Dance Festival, but there is a great line up with Amaya, Suzanna Del Vecchio and Leyla Amir! I might be... I may be worn out by then. .w.: I'm planning to do a private or two with SDV after her workshop.

I'll be coming in on Wed, wanted to see if anyone wanted to get together for dinner or something....

Also, anyone know about the thrift stores in the area? Someone once told me Vegas has the best thrift stores in the world, and so I may try to hit one up! :O)

I have a good feeling she will be back next year.

I'm excited to announce that Deb Rubin, organizer of the Mecca Immersion Tribal Fusion Retreat, will not only be performing in our Friday night show, but she is also teaching our Yoga warm up classes.

Deb has an extensive background in teaching yoga and belly dance. She recently co-taught a special workshop in Los Angeles with Aubre Hill (who is one of our headliners this year) called "The Bellydance Body". This was an extensive weekend about Biomechanics, Therapeutics, & Embodiment for Belly Dancers—from both Yogic and Pilates perspectives.

We are especially lucky to have her joining us at the event this year. I hope
this is an exceptional reason to actually wake up and get to the yoga sessions on time this year -- hahahahaha -- as I know how intense the Intensive can be.

On site registration will be $395 or 12 payments of $34 for the 4-day package. This includes 24 hours of classes, a ticket to the Friday show, a ticket to the Saturday show, and a thank you gift.

Additionally, those who register for the 2010 event on site before the Sunday lunch will be entered into a special raffle to win free Flamingo merchandise!

Regular online registration for the 2010 event will open September 15th, with a slightly higher price.
