Thread: Restaurant Dancing in Monterey CA?

One of my students is going on a business trip to Monterey soon. She was wondering if anyone could suggest a restaurant with dancing that she could bring her co-workers to for a fun night out?

Also, I found this place via Google: Menara Moroccan Restaurant - anyone have any info on it?

Check with Zorba; I think he's based in Monterey.

Amir's Kabob house - Jamaica dances there every Saturday nite, and the "Persian Grill" with Masha, also on Saturday nites. Both are excellent (and my teachers!). The Greek restaurant in town does NOT have Belly Dancers.

If they're in the area on the FIRST Saturday of the month, the Haute Enchilada (Haute Enchilada, Moss Landing, CA) in the nearby town of Moss Landing has 4 dancers, 3 guests and some guy named Zorba (The flyer on the Website is outta date as I write this, next performance is 5 September)!

ETA: Menara is excellent, but its 50 miles away.

Hey Zorba, is Rappa's still there? I know they wouldn't have dancers there but I was curious. I was in Monterey a long time ago at the Presidio.
