Thread: Nov 2009 Nile Group + Sphinx Fest

I'm thinking about renting an apartment for this time period (Nov 15-Dec 5 perhaps with some extra days before and/or after). Anyone know of any flats available, and/or anyone interested in sharing?

I'm keen to meet up/travel with people, especially during the "dead time" between festivals (Nov 24-30) so if you'll be in Cairo let me know!

btw, in case you're looking for info about the two festivals:

Sphinx Festival Egypt Dec 1-5

Hey Belynda! You are killing me here, I won't be able to get back to Cairo until next year. But if I could, I would totally share a flat with you. (FYI, everyone - I met Belynda at Nile Group June 08 and she is awesome!)

Have a great time! Have you tried asking Keti Sharif, Yasmina, or any of the other foreign dancers who rent out their flats in Egypt? (Well, maybe not Keti since she is putting together the Sphinx festival!) They might be able to help.

yeah, I have a few ppl in mind to ask about flats. ..g.: Just wanted to get an idea whether other ppl were interested in sharing. Plus, it's always fun to meet ppl with similar interested and travel together! (I was introduced to CouchSurfing not long ago and it's fab!)

I was wanting to come in November before my life got a bit messed up with job (loss then gain back, bleh). But something also told me to start planning for my "career future", so I signed up for a class (Intro to Digital Forensics) and most of these things fall into the "semester" timeframe.

Also, Amera Eid from Australia has a flat in Giza . . . Yasmina can probably help with that one too. I was talking to her about flats before all this mess and she knows a few ppl. Good Luck!

If I could get time off work I would absolutely make it to Raqias Teacher Training,it´s smaller than AWS(so not as hysterical)-
just to see Nany Sabry and Azza Sherif up close!:)
