I would like to know what is bellydance scene looks like in Washington DC. Any physical bellydance stores I could visit?

About 30 minutes north of DC is The Belly Dance Store Belly Dance Store.com: Designer Egyptian Costumes at Affordable Prices with a GINORMOUS selection of costumes and bedleh. They've got two threads dedicated to them here on Bhuz right now, too...

If you're looking for music or other things contact cleoscloset.com She's in the middle of looking for a new location- but has access to all her stuff in storage.
There are some great places to go see belly dance, too.

OMG!!! I had NO idea they were that close to DC!!!
(never paid attention I guess)
I am going to my sister's next month, and she's just 10 min from DC---
which makes it WELL within driving range---yippeeeeeee!!!

How do I find out when they are open???

Call to make an appointment. She is very accommodating. There is SO much there to drool over. You're going to !

That should be about 45 minutes to the belly dance store. SO worth the trip!
