    Morroco-Agadir

    Hi everyone,

I know there aren't so much shop in Morocco as in Egypt and Turkye, but does anyone knows if there are bellydance shops in the area of Agadir?

    thanks.

I never saw any. Lots of good Tuareg and Berber jewellery though.
There were some nice dancers in the restaurants but nothing like you might see in Egypt.
Morroco is wonderful to visit for other reasons than belly dance. It isn't native to there after all.
But enjoy the beach and the environs and the atmosphere.

    Re: Morroco-Agadir

I'll go somewhere begin 2010. I've been there before, but visited Marrakech, essaouira, Fez, Meknes, and Casablanca. I would love visit in my next trip city's like Agadir, Quarzazate, Ben Ait addou (don't know how to write the last one). In Marrakech I found some belly dance shops, and I was wondering if there were any shops in Agadir, ...To plan my trip. Now I know I have to make also a stop in Marrakech, so I can shop there ;-)

Thanks for all your help, it makes me easy to plan my trip.

    Hi

During my years in Morocco (2000-2002) the ambassador wives in Rabat all got their dresses made by local tailors. And no - wasn't really something I would pay for. ;) I think that Casablanca and Marrakech might be the best cities for BD hunting... As already mentioned; Agadir is more or less a pure turist city.

I'll be in Fes all January and think I've found a place that has BD workshops. But if you know any teachers and/or shops, please let me know.
