Thread: Artemisia goes to VEGAS! USA trip september 2010

whoohoo,

i can finally spill it, i'm going to vegas!!!! i'll be teaching a workshop at the las vegas intensive (9-12 september)!!! i'm sooooo excited about this! it will be my second time teaching in the us, and i'm so happy it's at such a great event. i'm really looking forward to meeting up with a whole lot of dancers i've only had online contact before and to seeing the shows wich i'm sure will be amazing! and to seeing aradia again!

and the weekend before i'll be teaching a workshop and a few classes in Phoenix as well!!!


i'd love love to find a third stop, or a mid week stop, any extra work in the area, so if anyone in california, arizona, nevada has some work for me, shout!!! since i'm in the area anyway, i'll do small stuff also, would love love to add some extra workshops or shows!

since i'm dragging the boyfriend along, any and all touristing "do not miss this" tips are very welcome too, as are fun and cheap places to stay etc.

we had a blast year in seattle/portland/eugene, and i'm super excited about discovering a new part of the US and more dancers

Me and some of the other gals in Idaho are thinking about going to this. Would you say it's a good event workshop wise for intermediate to advanced dancers?

Artemisia, If you're heading through the Idaho Falls/Pocatello area on your way, we'd love to have you here for some intermediate/advanced level workshops! If you're going south, Flagstaff, AZ is a great place to visit and stay for a few days. Flagstaff is very near to the grand canyon, the vermillion cliffs, old native american ruins (watapatki I think is the name of one big one), and sunset crater (very pretty place to camp, tons of old volcanoes, good trails, trees, a neat cave). Flagstaff is also only about 4 to 5 hrs away from Las Vegas.

Hey Lesedi~

The Intensive has something for everyone: beginners to pros, Egyptian style to ATS to fusion...its going to be a really great event this year. :) The schedule should be going up after the first, right Samira? ;)

Yes, the schedule will go up (and the price too) on January 1st.

Sabrina & Artemesia's classes do not conflict.

Artemisia's class is in the advanced track, so yes...this class would be appropriate for you. There is an entire track dedicated to beginners, so newer dancers have somewhere to go. ..g.:
