Thread: festivals in south of europe?

hey,

i feel like a bellydance holiday somewhere nice and preferably warm

does anyone know what's going on in spain/italy/greece. any festivals. or even workshop weekends sometime 2010; do share!

i'm most interested in places with performance opportunities for delegates/where i could possibly perform, but it's not an absolute prerequisite. just fun workshops to attend might be enough as long as the location is right ;-)

I will host a 4-day workshop with Yousry Sharif in July in the South of France (there are very cheap flights from Brussels, sometimes almost free). Several persons already plan to come and combine the workshop with a holiday, the sea is only 10km away from the center of the city. The info is not posted yet on my website, but I'll keep you informed if you are interested.

I remember an event in Barcelona, it's a combination of the european casting for Jillina's show organised by Aisa Lafour. Sorry, can't find more information on it right now.

There is constantly something going on in Greece - I suggest contacting Maria Aya (a Bhuz member) and she can send you their flyer with the plan for the whole 2010.

The dates with Yousry in Montpellier are July 9-12. I found your e-mail (in my mailbox !) so I'll send you more info when I have it.
