    Costumes and extension in Instanbul

Hallo! I'm new in this forum and I found a lot of information about a trip I'm going to make in Instanbul (thank you so much!!!!). I'm leaving on Thursday, I'm together with some friends and all of us are ballydance fanatic!!! We are going to buy costumes but we are also intentioned to go to a hairdresser's to have extensions applied to our hair. I woud like to know how expensive these are if you know and a good hairdresses where to buy them and have them applied. Thank you!!!!

    Ciao Barbi

Lucky you for going to Istanbul, I have to wait until May....

A friend of mine went to a hairdresser to get her hair cut. Major problem:
    Language.
Does any of you speak Turkish? Because it's very likely that the hairdressers will only speak Turkish.

Something you can do: Go and get your nails (or face) done here:
    California Nail Bar
The owner is from the USA, she might be able to recommend you a good place.
Don't just go for cheap because bad hair extensions can ruin your own hair!

If you find a good place, let us know!

    Good luck!

Thank you very much!!!! Unfortunately I could not read your post before leaving... anyway I found in Instanbul a good hairdresser who also works in Paris and Rome.... we were shown there by a turkish girl who was a friend of a friend... at last the extensions were very expensive 300 euro! I really thought it was too much and I also thought the turkish girl may get in it some pecentage, I decided to have the non-permanent extention which were cheaper (50 euro) with some true hair I had from home. My friend made the permanent extension and the price was 300 euro as I said.
Next time I go to Istanbul I'll visit the Californian Café... in fact during these four day we were very busy looking for costumes and did not find the time to eat. Nevertheless it was an unforgettable experience!
