Thread: Moving to Cairo

Hello Everyone

I am moving to Cairo in about 6 weeks time (for work, not Bellydance related work but work) I have never been before so if anyone is already living in Cairo or is also going to Cairo it would be nice to make some new friends, especially those who share my love of Bellydancing and if anyone has any general advice that would be nice as well :)

I was there a long, long time ago. I would love to go back. Be prepared for a lot of traffic and some crazy drivers. The natives are very nice people. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I had the money. Since you will be there for some time, I'm sure you will get out to see the sights outside of town, probably get to Alexandria and Luxor. At least the weather should start to be cooling a bit by the time you get there.
