Thread: Miami Bellydance Convention 2011

Well, I was there in 2009 and truly loved it. Unfortunately (!) I was in Mexico in 2010 and couldn't attend... but I'm definitely going in 2011!

Just wondering if anyone already paid for the whole weekend package? The early bird price is $250 and you're a VIP and can access all the workshops/shows. I'm thinking I should just buy it now, since it's so cheap (the price was supposed to go up on Oct. 1st, but it didn't), but I'm not 100% sure I can have my vacations at the time next year... Arrgggh!

I remember in 2009 I paid in Feb. and it was probably $299, but I don't remember exactly. Anyone remembers the prices for 2010 at the moment they booked?

I'm about hit the 'pay' button in paypal, but I'd rather wait a little... Decisions, decisions! .w.:

my friend bought the vip package already, i didn't yet since i'm graduating in may and i'm probably leaving florida, so not sure if i can make it down :-/ although i would love to, so i'm thinking that maybe if i go ahead and just purchase the vip package, i'll force myself to come down lol

i waited to buy mine for this year's and i think i paid something around $300

I had dreams that the package went up by $100 and I regretted not buying it... Maybe it's a sign!

Are we allowed to "re-sell" the package if we can't make it, you think?

i have no idea, i guess you could re-sell it to someone but they would have to sign in under your name i guess

Do u know who is teaching? I know Sadie is one of the headliners. I'm thinking of returning as well. I was there in 2009 and had a great time.

I don't think any instructor has been announced yet, but I can't wait to know!

Sadie will be there? Or is it Saida? I know Saida was there for the past 3 (or 2?) years.
