Has anyone ever been to Global Village in Dubai?
If so what were your impressions or experiences?

Global Village is a annual event here in Dubai at a site on the outskirts of town near Arabian Ranches. GV usually opens in November and runs until February. Different countries have pavilions selling crafts, clothing, food etc and some have food outlets where you can sample the country's cooking. Many put on performances by cultural groups. Get there at opening time (4pm) and use the ladies only queue to get your tickets, it'll save a lot of time.
