Thread: Tour Guides.

Gosh I love you all!

Looking for tour guides. The only ones I've found want a ton because I am American. Anyone have any suggestions/reccomendations?

We used Leyla Lanty's friend, Ahmed. He charged roughly $50 a day when we were there (plus he took a cut off everything we bought at Khan el Khaleely, but we still got better prices with him than without him).

He has a very nice car and knows all the dance-related places you might want to go.

Sometimes he can be the tour guide and tell you all about what you're seeing. He was a tour guide early in his career. Plus he always knows where to find the knowledgeable and honest guides wherever you go.

Leyla Amir has a travel company with an office in Las Vegas and an office in Cairo. I know they organize a lot of tours with folks from all over...Italy, Germany, the US. They have a lot of experience and are good people. I know nothing about price, but I'm sure Leyla would be happy to help you.
