Thread: Who is dancig where in Cairo right now?

Hi There

Counting down the days to the Nile group fest in June. Was wondering if anyone knows where all the fab dancers are dancing currently?
We are going to be staying in the Ramses hilton for one night and was wondering who their dancer may be?

The Nile Maxim boat is a must-see. Randa Kamel dances sometimes at the Marriott now.

Do you mean Randa is on the Maxim or is she dancing in the restauraunt (Egyptian nights?) within the Marirott?

I've just come back from Cairo and Randa was only dancing on the Nile Maxim boat one night - I think it was Tuesday. All other nights it was Asmahan from Argentina. The night we saw Asmahan on the boat (Thursday I think) Randa was dancing at the Marriot hotel so she may be dancing at the hotel most nights.

Soraya was still dancing (brilliantly) at the Cairo Sheraton. Someone told me that our very own Outi is dancing on the Nile Pharon (is that true Outi? Unfortunately we didn't see you there)

Camillia is still not dancing, neither is Leila.

But if you're staying at the Hilton Semi Ramses then your dancer is Dina!!! She dances on a Thursday night mainly but check out to see whether she's dancing on the night you're there.

Thursday???? That's when we get there!!!!!! I will email them to find out a bit closer to the date.

I was in Cairo until 2 days ago and Dina is performing at the Semiramis Cairo Intercontinental Hotel.I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and Dina pic is on the lobby as an announcement for her show at 3am!!!!!No, i did not make it to her show this time.

Darn it, i'm not sure if i can convince the others that they must get all dollied up at that ungodly hour to see a dancer they have never heard of before.

Yup,shimmy.Those bdancers shows at big hotels are usually at those wee hours,m:: That`s mostly why did not go to see Dina since i could not picture myself staying awake until that time even as i stayed in that Semiramis for a few days...c::

I wasn't at the Nile Group festival - I took a party of students there. Twelve bellydancers let loose in Cairo - we had a ball!!,r:;

That's ok, i think they are pretty close together. I will suss it out and see who is dancing when we arrive.

I am going with 7 of my students, just wait till Cairo gets a load of 8 crazy aussies! Actually make it 7, as i will be the responsible one getting them all to behave!
