    Good BD teachers in Boston?

One of my bellydance students is moving to Boston after summer 2012. She would love to take dance lessons to keep up her dancing and to meet new people.
Can you recommend any teachers for her in the Boston area? She doesn't know exactly where she will live yet, so there aren't any restrictions area-wize.

    Thanks.

Style she'll be looking for? level? She'll be spoiled for choice, but it'll be easier to make recommendations based upon that.

Thank you Kina. It sounds promising that she will be spoiled for choices.

She has been doing egyptian style this past year in my classes. She is about intermediate level and a quick learner. I don't know if she might like to try other styles when in Boston. I don't think she is set on only egyptian as she is still kind of early in her studies.
    Probably oriental style though.

If she is in Boston itself, or one of the neighboring suburbs, then Najmat might be a good choice. She is a fabulous teacher and an AMAZING dancer. Najmat Boston-based Arabic Style Belly Dancer

There is Seyyide in Cambridge, i believe. Seyyide Sultan: Belly Dance Artist in Boston

Joharra also teaches in Cambridge, Johara Snake Dance Productions.

for a wider range of teachers, Belly Dance New England which lists a goodly amount of teachers within New England.

Please let your student know that she's free to contact me if she'd like when she gets here/

I do believe that Nadira Jamal is in that area. She is a beautiful dancer and fantastic teacher. I am sure she will love her.

She is a fabulous teacher and dancer, but I think she primarily teaches Turkish style (although I might be wrong). That would be the only reason I didn't mention her.

Nadira Jamal teaches in Somerville and mostly does Vintage Oriental and Turkish styles. I'm lucky to have studied with her and she is absolutely fabulous. Her class website is Belly Dance Somerville | Shaking Up Union Square | Belly Dance Somerville.

Najmat and everyone else Kina mentioned are fantastic as well.

Aslahan is another Boston based dancer (Turkish style) and her website is Aslahan - belly dance classes in greater Boston (Arlington, MA). Melina (of Daughters of Rhea) is another great Boston based dancer... she truly will be spoiled for choices!
