Thread: Eilat Festival!

Is anyone else going to the Eilat bellyance festival in Israel next week? I hear it is amazign and would love to hook up with other american dancers there.

I was just in Israel for 3 weeks and Eilat is a great place to vist. However,
I spoke with Orit on the phone about costumes ect... and I was actually disgusted with her attitude I was shocked at how rude she was. I was so nice and sweet to her... Israels can have this hard ass attitude my boyfriend who is Israel thinks that its the army that can give them a bad attitude. But I think there is no excuse for rudeness. Im so shocked!! my jaw is still on the floor.

i'm used to the rudeness by now- i travel there twice a year and lived there for a year, not everyone is like that but a great majority is. i had a bad experience at the sahara city studio in tel aviv-some dancers were rude to me there but at Fifi Ness' studio in tel aviv it was great- very warm and fun. i'm not interested in the costumes, just the workshops. i'm sad to hear the orit is bitchy though- she's such a good dancer i was looking forward to meeting her. we will see what happens.
