not exactly bd but for fellow flamenco dancers out there...:

ugh i'm so frustrated w/them!! i ordered a pair of ainhoa flamenco shoes back in december and they came the exact opposite of what i ordered!! i ordered red with nails at the bottom size 39.5 and i got size 45 (!! that's like size 14 or so in women's?!?!), black and NO nails. wtf?!? how do these people not check their damn orders?!

i emailed them (politely) asking for my money back. the thing is i ordered with my boyfriend's credit card since they always rejected mine for some reason and so if i do get a refund now my boyfriend is going to have to go through the trouble of asking his dad for the money. i paid around $160 for this! i would sell it to my fellow dancers but omg a size 45 i don't think anyone can fit. geezus

is there a way i could possibly ask them to refund to MY credit card? or would they think i'm just scamming them or something? i would obviously have to return the shoes all the way back to spain (another pain in the a$$) but i would like the money back into my account if possible since my bf wouldn't have to go through this mess....

oh and this was a CUSTOM order too.
all i can say is thank god that i bought some a couple of weeks ago for $35 (!!) from a fellow dancer at a swapmeet at our instructor's house and they were red (color i was looking for) and w/nails at the bottom and they fit LIKE A DREAM. thank goodness i got off that lucky since my performance is on saturday!
