Thread: ebay seller 1001 nights

order costume from this seller who had good feedback. costume should of been here begining of june. contacted seller, who said it was sent. contacted twice for tracking info, recieved no response. have no opened case with pay pal since 45 day deadline for ebay has passed. with shipping this custom bra and belt cost me $110. even with a good record and only 2 complaints, you can still get screwed.

1001 nights. was only 2 negative feedbacks in past year, so, i expected no problems.

Those guys also go under the name *World*of*bellydance....and they have more negative feedback on there.

I've had dealings with them and I can tell you the customer service is appalling and she will threaten you with taking you to court etc if you win the case.

Shes a thoroughly nasty woman and writes nasty feedback comments.

I should add that my costume came...not the design I ordered....or colour...Skirt was stained with grease and she accused me of alsorts.

what annoyed me was I could not return it using a tracked service to Poland because there was none...despite it having been sent from Egypt.

i don't fold under to threats. i have fought for ssi (disability) and won. i have a hearing at the end of the month with public aid to fight them to pay for one of my meds. my sister tried to violently threaten me and i told her if she did not back off i would dial the cops. she would not get anywhere since i am on disability and she is the one who did not produce the merchandise. thanks for the info about other name. if she leaves bad feedback the fact about missing costume and bad rep under world of bellydance will be mentioned in reply. i am not one to mess with.

seller has not responded to paypal or to negative feedback. still no costume. so thus i will be going for getting my money back via paypal.

Good for you. I won my claim too but could not get a tracked/insured service back to Poland.
She threatened me with alsorts, made rude comments like maybe the grease was from not washing (like hell!). She tried to say it was from being opened by customs...but it had not been opened at all. Got very nasty.

I've worn that costume only twice because the grease spot is visible, and I wouldn't want to sell it in that condition.

If you read this forum, there is also another girl who bought Isis wings from them and they were rude too.

i also had a terrible experience with this vendor under their "world of bellydance" name. they send damaged, useless props and would not send suitable replacements until i stated that full actions would be taken against them on a certain date if they did not comply. guess what...she complied. total pita & not worth the hassel imo

is unbelievable the way some sellers are. they don't produce the item or it is damaged and they are nasty to you. if she does not respond to paypal in 9 days, i get my money back. i will definately check this section out before I go for any thing on ebay more often.

This reminds me of the Judge Judy ep when a seller was sued for cheating the buyers. They bought 2 cell phones, but were sent photocopies of cell phones, and told they bid on exactly what was for sale - a picture of a cell phone.

The plaintiffs won of course, but IMO, they should have received punitive damages too.

well she did not contact paypal within alloted time, so they refunded my money.
