bought a vhs from here. quality was horrible. returned it 2 months ago and never got my money back. :(

I don't think I've purchased from her, but I believe (if my memory serves me correctly) she purchased from me more than once, and all went smoothly. Very sweet bhuzzer to deal with. Hopefully you guys can work it out.

Did she get it?

Did you do a track and confirm?

When did you send it? And how?

If you sent it Parcel Post. It can take forever to get to someone that route.

But, anyhow, I would contact her directly.

I contacted her a month ago. No response. :( I sent it 2 months ago.

I wonder if something happened, because she hasn't been here since then.

Lets hope it all works out. Not sure what else you could do at this point. PayPal resolution is too late. You could possibly contact your bank/credit card that you used to pay for the transaction. I know they usually require a time limit as well.

I haven't been on bhuz in quite a while. I received the video return from starsofjazira the week my aunt died, and then after that funeral, another relative passed away. Those two events, coupled with some female health issues, and a crazy work schedule...I have not been on bhuz.

To clear the air, I take VERY good care of anything I own and I would never sell something that was broken or in poor condition. The video that was purchased was 'Momo Kadous Art of Playing Finger Cymbals' from Turquoise International. I think the video has a poor production quality to it--when I had watched it, you had to turn up the volume quite loud in some parts to hear it--which I think is due to the way it was taped. I certainly can't control how someone taped and produced a video. However, the instructional value to the video is obviously, still there.

When starsofjazira complained to me about it, I agreed to take it back (and then my schedule went bananas).
Also, considering starsofjazira doesn't have many posts and I knew the video was in good condition when I sent it out, I wanted to review it to make sure it wasn't broken from her end.

And there you have it!

(by the way, I did not receive the video two months ago--I think it has been just over a month since I received it and it has been sitting on my hall table).

Thank you guys for your help. I did get a refund. Only $8.50 of the $13.00 I paid. (Shipping to me was only 2.50) Sent a message (a month ago - but sent the video back 2 mos ago) but only after the thread did I get a reply.

The video was faulty (Sound stopped at some places video stopped within some places - on the outside the video did look well taken care of.) I mailed it back within a week with media mail.

Glad I got this taken care of. I guess each individual can decide whether or not they would like to purchase.

Well, it does state that transactions are at your own risk. Plus this video is for sale at T.I. so why not buy it there? Shipping may have been only 2.50, but maybe she also had to purchase the shipping container?

Wow, I've never heard of people taking returns on used items before. I always figured I was buying at my own risk, especially when it comes to small items that almost cost more to ship than they're worth.

Media mail is one step up from 3rd class and carries no timely delivery promises. It can take weeks -- a month is well within the rights of the post office.

Glad this whole thing got resoved.

Half.com allows for refunds and people making returns. It sucks, because I just had a buyer lie to me about water damage on a book. The book was 100% fine when shipped.

Rather than ruin my perfect score, I just refunded it, but it still bothers me.

This whole experience with this girl has been a real pain. She is completely lying multiple times about her timeline of what happened and the condition of the video. Complete lies. Unbelieveable to me.
Thank you to those of you who posted positive things about their transactions with me. I really appreciate it. I must say that you should all be warned from doing business with starsofjazira. It is not worth it.

I agree with Lauren, The condition of items is subjective anyhow.
Used videos! How does one judge condition?
Such a nominal price, just cut your losses & move on I say!
