Thread: Legend costumes communication?

So, I love the Legend costumes. I know Meissoun has had good luck with them, but I ordered mine back the very beginning of October and haven't heard anything from them, nor do they respond to my emails. Should I be worried, or does anyone know about any other way to find out what's going with this now? Of course, having fretted in public now, I'll probably see it in the mail on Monday. ..l;,
Just wondering about other's experiences with them.

You're scaring me now! I just ordered one at the end of November and they said it would be ready in 3 weeks .w.:

I ordered mine at the beginning of October as well and received an email this last week that it was being shipped. I did have to send two emails to hear from them though. The email came from Serife (sp?) who mentioned Asiya is having computer problems. And I know Serife is in Korea so may not be able to access the business account very often. Who knows?

I would wait a week and then just re-forward the same email to the same address. Hope that eases some worry for you.

Unrelated - have you noticed that the woman modeling most of the costumes on Legend's site looks SO MUCH like Suhaila Salimpour? It drives me crazy! I'm like heyyyyy Suhaila!

I have never had a problem with them...always great and good communication! I don't think you need to worry...maybe your e-mails are not going through for some reason. They are great people..I have fantastic costumes from Legend! Good luck!

I have had great communication with them also. I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep trying... I am sure there will be a reasonable explanation.

I tried to order from them last Xmas, but they never respoonded to my email so I bought from someone else... this Xmas I bought from Bella!!! I can't wait to receive my costume ..g.:

I've been thinking about getting a legend... very nice looking costumes!

About how much do the costumes run on average? I know that they don't post the prices, they just ask you to email them for a quote, but can anyone tell me about how much money I should expect to save?

Costumes are around $750 USD-but shipping is aparently included in the price

Has anyone ordered recently? I put my order in October and *still* don't have a costume. Three different times they've promised it was being shipped in the same week, but nothing is here!

I've gotten that response on four different occasions. I sent an email today expressing my disappointment. I'm hoping I get a concrete time estimate.

Only Bella custom costumes for me from now on! After dealing with Legend and Audrena, it's too much hassle and not even for a better price.

I wonder if everything's OK over there. Everything I'd heard about Legend was positive before I placed my order!

With the exception of one person I had also heard good things. Though the one person is in my hometown, so maybe it's just us PacNWers that have a hard time with them? Either way I'm really disappointed. It's a lot of money to hand over up front and then not have a costume at the promised time.

I'm on the east coast, so I guess it's not just a regional issue ,r:;

And yeah, if I'm gonna pay for a costume up front, I'd better have it in my hands within a reasonable time frame. How disappointing...

I got an email this morning saying it's been shipped. SOOOOO...we'll see if it comes this week.

OMG, my boyfriend just called to say that my costume arrived!!!!

Bad news? I had it shipped to our second home in Cocoa Beach. So the friggen' thing is being held hostage in Florida until next time I visit my man!

He says it's really, really pretty though!

He was even so cruel as to send me photos of it. It's stunninggggggg!

My came today and I am a little disappointed. The belt and bra are beautiful, but I'm not crazy about the skirt. And I asked for arm bands and they gave me sleeves. And I was told there would be a headband and necklace and there's not ,f:: So, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

Bummer Malia! Can you post a pic of it anyways??
