Thread: Anyone else having problem with Fairy Cove Website?

Let me start with this - I've probably posted this in the wring forum since I love their veils and had no problems ordering.

But I'm having trouble getting to their website - I clicked from the BHUZ ad and got a home page but get an error message when I try to check out the veils. Then I tried getting to the page from Google and a pretty picture loads but I still can't get to the veils.... Is anyone else havin an issue or is it just this computer?

email Meag directly she is quick to respond...I thought I heard from another customer that her website was having some issues but they are working to resolve it. I tried the purchase-order thing from the website on A'Kai before and it was a huge headache so I just keep the etsy store open..so I can understand website glitches..they are not easy to deal with

Hi there,
Sorry you're having problems with my website. Our host 'upgraded' after Thanksgiving with very poor timing and botched the upgrade.

We lost 6weeks worth of content and update pages and I have had to have my employeet work to get it all rebuilt.

After this, they still failed to resolved original issues, and then made more errors with the final 'upgrade' and botched the coding for our store as we are supposed to have an individualized (vanity) SSL and they didn't propogate our dns correctly so now they have us patched until they fully fix it.

Currently the site is working, and should remain working, and hopefully they will fix all the behind the scenes programming bugs .... but yes, it was down for approx 48 hrs ( i about had a cow ) but instead after spending several hrs on it on Tues, and Wed, I decided to just let them do their work and well, get drunk on New Years with the rest of the world and hope we're all better next year!

(and also which is I cannot tell you how annoying as it completely takes me away from dyeing silk which is what i really like to do!)
